Before using the DC high voltage generator, connect the connecting wire and the ground wire as shown in the figure below, and ensure that the grounding is reliable. The DC withstand voltage test should be carried out in dry weather as much as possible, and then wipe the test product clean and keep a sufficient safe distance from the surroundings. Before the test, it is best to discharge the test product to the ground.


Start the DC withstand voltage meter, turn the pressure limiting knob on the control panel to the right to the maximum, and then increase at a constant rate of 2% of the test voltage per second. Pay attention to the reading of the microammeter during the boost process. According to the zinc oxide arrester According to the test specification, the leakage current value should be read at 1mA, and the leakage current at 0.75 times the voltage is the leakage current. Therefore, try to rise slowly during the boost process. When boosting, you can use the fine adjustment knob to cooperate, try not to Exceeding the regulations is too much. The leakage current varies according to the voltage level. The smaller the leakage current, the better, usually 0 to 5mA. After the test is completed, remember to fully discharge, otherwise the residual voltage may harm your safety.
