How to use the zinc oxide arrester tester?

The zinc oxide arrester tester is a special instrument used to test the electrical performance of the arrester. It is suitable for detection of live or power failure of lightning arresters of various voltage levels, and timely detection of dangerous defects such as damp insulation of equipment and aging of valves.


The equipment is simple and easy to use. During the entire measurement process under IPC control, all measured currents, resistance currents and their harmonic MOA, frequency reference voltage and its harmonics, active power and phase, actual voltage and large-screen current waveforms. The instrument adopts digital waveform analysis, the result of harmonic analysis is accurate, and the stable digital filtering software interference method accurately analyzes the content of the 3rd to 7th fundamental harmonics, overcomes the interference phase, and measures the lightning arrester along the correct phase of the resistance current.

When the transformer is powered off, please connect the instrument to the reliable grounding wire of the test transformer first, then connect the current test wire (the yellow, green and yellow wires of the three-core wire are connected to the lower ends) and three zinc oxide arresters), and finally connect Withstand voltage test wire (the yellow, green and red wires of the four-core wire are connected to one end of the transformer measuring winding, and the black wire is connected to the other end).


Combined with the current test line, first, according to the current size, the current test line reaches the upper limit of the host's "0-2mA" or >2mA (standard curve of 2-10mA>2mA), and then reduces the MOA at the other end of the method. The method of connecting the voltage test line is to connect the meter first, and then connect the transformer test winding. After checking that the wiring is correct, slowly increase the voltage to the working voltage of the zinc oxide arrester, and then operate the instrument to start the test.


Software settings:


Current range: Select the corresponding current range setting according to the host panel.


Synchronization mode: select "wired synchronization" or "wireless synchronization", and select "three-phase voltage" for voltage mode. For wired synchronization, please connect the communication lines of the two machines, but not the antennas of the two machines; for wireless synchronization, please connect the antennas of the two machines, but not the signal line. The long-distance antenna can be pulled up or sucked on the other casing of the device.


PT transformation ratio: measured according to the input test transformer turns ratio (the ratio of the high-voltage winding to the measured winding). For example, if a 50kV test transformer measures a 100V winding (instrument end), the value is set to 50kV: 100V=500.


When performing single-phase or two-phase testing in this connection mode, only connect the corresponding test wire, and the remaining wires are suspended
