The DC high voltage generator must strictly abide by the operating rules during the operation. If it is used improperly during the operation, it will not only affect the measurement accuracy of the equipment, but also may shorten the service life of the instrument. To this end, the editor has compiled some operating precautions, hoping to help our customers.

1. Regardless of which equipment is purchased, you must read the manual before using it to understand the working principle and operation process of the equipment;

2. Install two obvious disconnect points before the working power supply enters the tester. When replacing the tested product and wiring, the working power disconnection point should be obviously disconnected first;

3. Before the test, check whether the grounding wires of the control box, the pressure doubler and the tested product are well connected. The grounding wire of the test loop should be grounded at one point as shown in the manual;

4. When discharging the large-capacity test product, the test product should be discharged through a 100Ω/V discharge resistance rod. The discharge rod should not be immediately contacted with the test product during discharge. The discharge rod should be gradually approached to the test product to a certain distance from the air. The gap begins to dissociate and discharge with a hissing sound. When there is no sound, the ground terminal of the discharge rod can be used to discharge, and the ground wire can be directly connected after the final discharge;

5. When the DC high voltage is 200KV and above, although the tester wears insulated shoes and is outside the safe distance, due to the influence of the high voltage DC ion spatial electric field distribution, several nearby standing bodies will have different DC potentials. , Test personnel should not shake hands or touch the grounding point with their hands, otherwise there will be a slight electric shock phenomenon, which is more obvious in dry areas and winter, but generally will not cause harm to people due to the low energy;

6. After the test, the ground wire must be hung to the high-voltage output terminal before the high-voltage lead can be removed.
