How to use the loop resistance tester
1. Preparation and inspection before use
Open the cover of the instrument and take out two test pliers, two 100A/4m long current wires (thick wires) and two 4m long voltage wires (thin wires) from the accessory bag.
Connect the test lead to the test clamp.
Connect the other end of the test wire with the test clamp to the instrument as shown in the figure.
Use fine sandpaper to treat the electrode part of the device under test, and handle it carefully, otherwise it will cause errors in the test value.
The equipment to be tested should be stopped, and all equipment and lines connected to it should be disconnected.
The terminal on the panel of the instrument is reliably connected to the standard ground wire.
Check that the input AC voltage of the instrument should be: AC220V±10%, 50Hz.
Check whether the current adjustment knob of the instrument is turned counterclockwise to a small value. If it is not counterclockwise to a small value, please turn it counterclockwise to a small value.
2. Start measuring
Clamp the two ends of the electrode of the device under test with the test clamp connected to the test line, and turn on the power switch of the instrument. At this time, the power meter displays "000" and the resistance meter displays "000". Press the measurement button to adjust the current of the instrument The knob is adjusted clockwise at an even speed, and the adjustment stops when the ammeter shows "100". At this time, read the reading of the resistance meter directly. After the test is completed, adjust the output current adjustment knob counterclockwise to make it small, and turn off the power switch.
