1. Form the power drop of the high-voltage test transformer

 

Since the iron loss of the high-voltage test transformer will not change with the load, and the copper loss is proportional to the current of the load, we can see these from the power curve of the transformer. When the output of the transformer is zero, our power is also zero. When the output increases, the power will start to increase until it reaches the maximum value. From this we can clearly see that we want to overload the transformer. It is not enough to carry more loads and more power. Not only do you need to limit the processing power of the transformer, but it must also be determined based on the capacity of the transformer.

2. The influence of the temperature of overload operation on the changing table

 

The temperature of the high-voltage test transformer has a great influence on its operation. The biggest influence is on the insulation strength of the transformer; when the temperature of the transformer rises, the resistance of the coil will become larger and larger, and the copper loss will follow. In addition, everyone knows that the materials used in transformers include iron core and high and low voltage coils. Although the iron core can withstand high temperatures, the high and low voltage coils of insulating materials will be very damaged when the temperature reaches a certain value. ; If such a long-term operation continues, it will severely affect the life of the transformer, and it may directly burn the transformer.

 

The long-term overload operation of the high-voltage test transformer will severely affect the service life of the transformer. Under normal circumstances, we still do not let the transformer overload operation. If it is necessary to overload the operation, then it must be done in accordance with the rules and standards, otherwise it is easy to cause the transformer to burn out.
