Use high voltage test transformer

Precautions for using high voltage test transformer:


1. Connect the working circuit according to your test. The shell of the high-voltage test transformer and the shell of the operating system must be reliably grounded. The X-end (high-voltage tail) of the high-voltage winding of the oil-immersed test transformer and the F-end of the measuring winding must be reliably grounded.


2. When doing a cascade test, the low-voltage windings of the second and third-level high-voltage test transformers are X-ends, and the F-ends of the measuring windings and the X-ends (high-voltage ends) of the high-voltage windings are all connected to the outer shell of the high-voltage test transformer of this level. The outer shell of the second and third-level high-voltage test transformers must be grounded through the insulating support.

3. Before turning on the power, the voltage regulator of the operating system must be adjusted to the zero position before turning on the power, closing and starting to boost.


4. Rotate the pressure regulator handwheel at a constant speed from zero to increase the pressure.


The boosting methods of high-voltage test transformers are:


(1) Fast boost method: 20s step-by-step boost method;


(2) Slow boosting method, that is, 60s step-by-step boosting method;


(3) Very slow step-up method. That is, the voltage starts from zero and rises to 75% of the rated test voltage you need according to a certain step-up method and speed, and then rises to the rate of 2% of the rated test voltage per second The test voltage you need, and pay close attention to the measuring instrument and the condition of the tested product. If the indication of the measuring instrument and the condition of the tested product are found to be abnormal during the boosting process or the test process, the voltage should be reduced immediately, the power supply should be cut off, and the situation should be found out.


5. After the test, the voltage regulator should be returned to the zero position at a constant speed within a few seconds, and then the power supply should be cut off.


6. The high-voltage test transformer shall not exceed the rated parameters. Except as necessary for the test, the voltage is never energized or de-energized.
