The transformer volt-ampere characteristic tester mainly tests the temperature of safety devices, such as the working temperature of insulating materials under normal conditions. This temperature is lower than the maximum allowable temperature of insulating materials at the highest allowable operating temperature of the equipment. For example, the temperature of the insulating material tested in an environment of 25°C is 100°C, and the insulating material can only operate safely below 130°C. This is the key to defining the maximum allowable operating temperature of the device. If the device is at an ambient temperature of 50°C, then the insulating material The ambient temperature converted to 50°C should be 125°C, which satisfies the requirement of less than 130°C, and the test passes.


If the device has an ambient temperature of 60°C, the test temperature converted to 60°C should be 135°C, which is greater than the requirement of 130°C, and the test fails. Similarly, other safety devices also need to be tested for operating temperature. To judge whether the requirements are met. After the safety comprehensive tester passes the test, the manufacturer will sell the instrument products to customers by express or delivery. Then when you get the safety comprehensive tester, you need to pay attention to it during use. Some matters, the following are some matters of the transformer testing equipment:


1. When using a transformer volt-ampere characteristic tester, note that the DC high-voltage output is a negative voltage, and the ground is a positive electrode.


2. When testing the volt-ampere characteristics of the transformer, the voltage should be increased slowly, and the charging current should be less than the set leakage current value until the test voltage is specified, and the test should be performed: because when testing the capacitance, when the voltage is applied to the two ends of the capacitor There is a charging process. At this time, there is a charging current in the test circuit. When the current is greater than the set leakage current value, the withstand voltage tester will alarm, and the test will be interrupted and cannot be performed.


3. It is not possible to use a fixed voltage, reset-start method for testing. The AC circuit is equivalent to the resistance in the DC circuit. Therefore, the safety tester generates a current in the AC circuit. When the current is greater than the set leakage When the current value is reached, the withstand voltage tester will alarm, making the test interrupted and unable to proceed.


4. Before the test, the capacitive reactance of the capacitor should be calculated first, and then the loop current value under the test voltage should be calculated, and then the leakage current preset value of the withstand voltage tester should be adjusted to be slightly larger than the loop current value before testing.


5. Testing cables and other components (equipment) with large distributed capacitance should be equivalent to capacitor testing.
