Common problems encountered by DC resistance testers:


1. Burn insurance at boot


Generally, this kind of problem needs to be divided into two situations. 5A~10A DC resistance tester. This situation is that the high voltage will burn out the built-in transformer. After the burnout, it will affect the normal use of the instrument; if the DC resistance test If the instrument is above 20A, then it is a problem with the switching power supply. When everyone encounters an insurance burning situation, how to solve it is very simple, only need to replace the transformer or switching power supply in time, and it can be used normally. When repairing the equipment, it is necessary to have professionals to disassemble the equipment, so as to ensure that there will be no problems in the end.

2. The resistance value cannot be measured with a DC resistance tester


There are also two reasons for this situation. The first is that the switching power supply is broken and there is no current output; the second is that the value set for the instrument exceeds the device range, and the program cannot recognize the command in this case. The reason is that for the first type, we can replace the power supply. If it is the second type, we have to restart the instrument, select the resistance or current within the correct range and start measuring.


Three, the display screen of the DC resistance tester appears in the process of the test


Flickering of the DC resistance tester is likely to be due to poor contact of the internal cable. At this time, we need to turn off the instrument and check whether the cable is loose. If it is loose, reinforce the cable to solve the problem. Another reason is that electromagnetic interference causes the screen to display abnormally. If this is the reason, we need to contact the manufacturer to add a filter capacitor to the DC resistance tester, so as to solve the problem. Of course, these are only the quality problems of the equipment itself. If you encounter it, it means that the equipment has a big problem, so it is recommended that you make a choice when buying the equipment.


In addition to these, you should also pay attention to some issues during use, such as: You can't touch the LED screen with high-temperature objects, and the test clamp needs to check whether the input interface fixture is normal. In addition, keep the equipment dry and clean, which is also an effective way to extend the service life of the equipment. At the same time, in order to make the detection equipment more accurate measurement, we must regularly calibrate the equipment, so as to ensure the accuracy and stability of the measured value.
