How to use gas-filled test transformer

1.Connect the working circuit and ground it well.

2. First set the voltage and current setting values according to the instructions.

3. The boost is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the regulations, and the boost speed must be less than 3000V/s.

4. When the voltage rises to the test voltage, the timing should be started. After 1 minute, the voltage can be quickly reduced to below 1/3 of the test voltage before the power supply can be cut off.

5. During the re-boosting or withstand voltage test, if the following abnormal conditions are found, the voltage should be reduced immediately, the power supply should be cut off, the test should be stopped, and the cause should be found out.

⑴ The voltmeter pointer swings (or the number jumps) very much

6. The ninth item is the pressure valve and pressure gauge, which are closed for a long time. Open the valve once every 6 months to check the SF6 pressure. It should be no less than 0.4MPa (close the valve immediately after checking the pressure), and should be less than 0.4MPa Add SF6 gas to increase gas insulation.

7. The insulation resistance of the tested equipment should be measured before and after the withstand voltage test, and the insulation condition should be checked.

8. The operation must strictly follow the relevant national standards and operating procedures, and refer to GB311-83 ``Insulation coordination and high-voltage test technology for high-voltage transmission and transformation equipment'', ``Electrical equipment preventive test regulations'', etc.

Precautions for the use of gas-filled test transformers

1. When the test transformer is not used for a long time, it should be placed in a ventilated, dry place without direct sunlight.

2. The product is not allowed to be higher than 45

3. Gravity is not allowed during transportation.

4. Product fasteners, pressure valves and pressure gauges must not be loosened without authorization.
