How to operate the DC high voltage generator?

Operation method and steps of DC high voltage generator:


1. The DC withstand voltage test should be carried out in dry weather. The surface of the test product should be wiped clean. The test product must be kept at a sufficient distance from the surrounding objects. The test product must be discharged to the ground for more than 5 minutes before the test.


2. The DC withstand voltage test and the leakage current are generally combined, that is, the leakage current value is read in sections as the voltage increases during the DC withstand voltage process, and the DC withstand voltage test is finally performed.

3. Connect the signal output cable socket and measurement input socket of the ZGF series DC high voltage generator control box with the voltage doubler device cable socket with special cables. Check their integrity before use. The connecting cable should not be short-circuited or broken; voltage doubler The cylinder should be free of condensation; use a copper wire of 2.5mm or more to connect the grounding terminal of the control box to the grounding terminal of the voltage multiplier and connect it to the ground reliably.


4. Plug in the power, turn on the power switch of the ZGF series DC high voltage generator control box, the voltage display table 8 and current display table 7, and 0.75 times the voltage display table 11 show zero values. Turn the voltage setting button clockwise to the end, turn the voltage coarse adjustment knob and the voltage fine adjustment knob counterclockwise to the zero position, and the zero indicator light is on.


5. Lightly press the "Start" button, the "Power" indicator (red) is on. If you press the "Start" button, the red indicator light is off, indicating that the voltage coarse adjustment and fine adjustment are not at the zero position, turn the voltage coarse adjustment knob and fine adjustment knob counterclockwise to the zero position, and the red indicator light is on.


6. Turn the voltage coarse adjustment knob clockwise. When the voltage is close to the required voltage value, turn the voltage fine adjustment knob to the required voltage. At this time, the voltage display value unit is kV, and the current display value unit is mA.


7. Adjust the voltage setting knob counterclockwise to turn off the high voltage. At this time, the red indicator light is off and the "overvoltage" indicator light is on. It is clear that the instrument is set according to the required output voltage at this time, that is, when the output reaches the required voltage value, it will automatically cut off the high voltage and over-voltage protection. If the setting knob is not adjusted, the voltage value can only rise to the setting voltage value each time. If the voltage needs to be raised to the rated value, the overvoltage setting knob must be adjusted clockwise to the large f range.
