1. When the insulation resistance tester measures the insulation resistance of the circuit, the L column is connected to the wire and the E column is grounded. When measuring the insulation resistance of the motor winding, the L column is connected to the winding lead of the motor, and the E column is connected to the motor housing.

2. If measuring the insulation resistance between the windings, the two columns of L and E are connected to the wires of the two windings respectively. When measuring the insulation resistance of the cable to the ground, the L-pillar cable core, the E-pillar cable surface, and the G-pillar cable insulation Floor.

3. During the measurement, the insulation resistance tester should be placed steadily. When shaking the generator handle, the speed should be from slow to fast. When the speed reaches 120r/min, after the pointer is basically stable for 1min, read again.

4. Wait for the insulation resistance tester to stop rotating and fully discharge the tested object. You can touch the device with your hands and remove the wiring of the meter to avoid electric shock.

5. The voltage level of the insulation resistance tester should be compatible with the voltage level of the object under test to avoid breakdown of the insulation of the equipment under test.

6. In the vicinity of live equipment, when using a telemeter to measure insulation resistance, the location of personnel and meters should be appropriate. And keep a safe distance from the live equipment to prevent the measuring lead of the insulation resistance tester from contacting the live part
