Problems in the use of circuit resistance tester

Loop resistance tester in our daily use will inevitably encounter a variety of abnormal problems, the following we will simply talk about how to solve these abnormal problems


1. Phenomenon: loop resistance tester is connected to 220V AC power supply, and the fan has no running sound, and press the "test switch", ammeter and microohm meter have no display.


Cause: 220V AC power supply is disconnected, fuse is not installed or fuses.


Elimination method: check and eliminate. (100A instrument insurance is not less than 6A re-fuse and contact the factory to solve. (Never access dc or 380V AC power)


Two, phenomenon: press the circuit resistance tester "test switch", ammeter display no current, microohm high display "1".


Cause: the 100A current loop is not connected properly. The switch was not closed.


Elimination method: check the test line, reconnection, heavy clamp. Close the switch.


Three, phenomenon: loop resistance tester test current is normal, microohm high display "1"


Cause: Voltage clamp is incorrectly located. The resistance value of the tested loop exceeds 2000□□. The voltage signal line is disconnected or disconnected.


Elimination method: processing voltage signal loop, clamp, clamp the voltage clamp. Over range: Use a multimeter to measure the voltage of P1 and P2. The resistance value is the voltage value/current value.


Four, phenomenon: circuit resistance tester output current tens of times, less than 100A.


Cause: The power supply voltage is too low, the internal resistance of the power line is large or the contact is poor, and the voltage drop is too large when there is DC output, which cannot reach 190V. C1 and C2 binding posts are loose. The test loop and the test wire clip are not in good contact.


Elimination method: use qualified power supply, useful too long and thin power line, to deal with the tested loop, eliminate bad contact. Twist the C1, C2, P1, P2 terminals with appropriate force. (Test current is 30A test value is reliable)
