1. Measuring method of insulation resistance meter:

(1) Wiring method

When measuring the insulation resistance of the line with an insulation resistance meter, the L column is connected to the line wire and the E column is grounded. When measuring the insulation resistance of the motor windings to the ground, connect the L column to the motor winding lead, and the E column to the motor casing; if the pump is to measure the insulation resistance between the windings, connect the L and E columns to the wires of the two windings respectively. . When measuring the insulation resistance of the cable to the ground, the L-pillar is connected to the cable core, the E-pillar is connected to the outer surface of the cable, and the G-pillar is connected to the cable insulation layer.

(2) Test method

When measuring, the insulation resistance meter should be placed smoothly. When shaking the generator handle, the speed should be from slow to fast. When the speed reaches 120r/min, after 1min the pointer is basically stable, take the reading again. If you find the hands of the watch while shaking the handle, don't shake it any more, as a rabbit will burn the instrument coil.

(3) After measurement

Wait for the insulation resistance meter to stop rotating and fully discharge the measured object before touching the equipment and removing the wiring of the meter with your hands to avoid electric shock.

2. Precautions for the operation of the insulation resistance meter:

(1) The voltage level of the insulation resistance meter should be adapted to the withstand voltage level of the tested object, so as to prevent the insulation of the tested equipment from being broken down.

(2) It is strictly forbidden to shake the insulation resistance of live equipment.

(3) It is strictly forbidden to shake the insulation resistance on the line where people are working. During thunder and lightning, it is strictly forbidden to perform telemetry work.

(4) In the vicinity of live equipment, when measuring the insulation resistance, the personnel and the meter should choose a suitable position, and keep a safe distance from the live equipment to prevent the measuring lead of the insulation resistance meter from touching the live part.
