Precautions during the use of series resonance

The variable frequency series resonant withstand voltage device adopts the principle of series resonance. By using an excitation transformer to excite a series resonant circuit and adjusting the output frequency of the variable frequency controller, the inductance L of the reactor in the circuit and the capacitance C of the measured object are caused to resonate in series. Resonant voltage is the voltage applied to the test object; The frequency conversion resonance test device is widely used in industries such as power, metallurgy, petroleum, and chemical engineering, and is suitable for the transfer and preventive testing of large capacity and high-voltage capacitive testing products.

Notes:


1. Before conducting a voltage withstand test using a series resonant AC voltage withstand device, please measure the insulation resistance of the test sample according to the test procedure and confirm that the test sample meets the relevant insulation requirements. Only then can we proceed to the next step of voltage withstand test.


2. Before using this device for voltage testing and starting the equipment, please recheck if the wiring is correct. For example, the voltage output of the excitation transformer is connected to the lower end of the lowest reactor through a traction cable. The high voltage output line of the upper reactor and the upper end of the compensation capacitor should be suspended as much as possible and should not be close to the ground or surrounding objects to prevent the high voltage line from grounding or discharging to objects. Because every small mistake you make can cause irreparable damage to equipment and personnel, and every time you correct your mistake, the safety of the equipment will be so precious to the on-site personnel;


3. Due to considerations of personnel and equipment safety, the grounding requirements for the device are very high. When connecting the grounding grid of a substation, dirt, rust, paint, etc. on the grounding piles, switchgear, and transformer casings should be treated before grounding to ensure effective connection between the ground wire and the grounding device. 


4. The equipment power supply uses two 380V live wires, and the live wires of the 220V power supply for instrument operation are connected using 380V live wires. Try to avoid using welding machines and other equipment in the power cord to prevent interference. When using the generator power supply, the neutral wire should be grounded.


5. The discharge of the test product and the restoration of the instrument's overvoltage protection can cause damage to the instrument, despite numerous simulation tests or various protections being set up. However, the discharge process is a global issue. In addition, there are many on-site operations for the instruments, and the transportation and usage environments are poor. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you take measures to prevent vibration and dust during transportation.
