Tips for extending the service life of resonance

The complete set of variable frequency series resonance test equipment has the advantages of small power capacity, light weight of test equipment, good output voltage waveform, etc. It can effectively prevent harmonic peak from causing false breakdown of the test sample and avoid large short-circuit current from burning the fault point. The variable frequency series resonance test set has outstanding technical advantages and good application prospects in power engineering testing.


The complete set of frequency conversion series resonance test equipment has a resonance frequency, where L is the inductance value of the reactor. If several reactors are used in series and parallel, the influence of mutual inductance should be considered. C is the sum of the test sample and the voltage divider capacitor, which can be measured on site using a bridge or dielectric loss meter. The high-voltage current I=2 π fCU can be determined by the electrical parameters of the test sample and the factory withstand voltage test value. The withstand voltage test voltage U on site can be determined, and the active power P=1.2 (P0+PK), where P0 is the no-load loss of the excitation transformer and PK is the rated active loss of the reactor.


In on-site tests, if the ground wire connection is not standardized, the parasitic inductance will increase significantly, and the generated overvoltage may be greater, which can endanger the variable frequency power supply and personal safety. Therefore, the high-voltage test system must be reliably grounded at all points. The grounding point of the voltage divider and the connection line to the ground should be as short as possible, and the grounding wire should be thick, straight, and short to ensure test safety.

Many technicians are familiar with the on-site operation process of the variable frequency series resonance test equipment, but they are not very familiar with how to maintain and prolong its service life. Below, we will introduce the transportation, storage, acceptance, and maintenance of the variable frequency series resonance test equipment.


1. Transportation

When the equipment needs to be transported, it is recommended to use our company's instrument packaging wooden boxes and shock-absorbing items to avoid unnecessary damage and losses during transportation. When the equipment is not in wooden boxes during transportation, it is not allowed to stack and arrange it. During transportation, the panel should face upwards.  


2. Storage

The equipment should be placed in a dry, dust-free, ventilated, and non corrosive indoor environment. When storing the equipment, the panel should face upwards and moisture-proof materials should be placed at the bottom of the equipment to prevent it from getting damp.  


3. Precautions for unboxing

Before opening the box, please confirm that the arrow mark on the outer packaging of the equipment should face upwards; Please be careful not to forcefully tap when opening the box to avoid damaging the equipment; Unpacking and removing the equipment, while retaining the packaging and shock absorbers, not only facilitates your future use during transportation and storage, but also plays a role in environmental protection and energy conservation.  


4. Inspection content

Open the box, take out the equipment, and count the equipment and spare parts.  


5. Verify the availability of the device

Before using the instrument, first observe whether the appearance of the instrument is damaged; After powering on, check if the instrument's LCD screen displays properly and if the display is complete. For instruments that have not been used for a long time, check if the output terminals are corroded or aged. Otherwise, they should be cleaned up in a timely manner before use; Please refer to the "Usage Operation" method when using.  


6. Maintenance of equipment

After each experiment is completed, clean the instrument, turn off the power, and disconnect the power plug. Place the equipment in a dry, dust-free, and ventilated room.
