How to connect a series resonant circuit?

In industrial production and laboratories, in order to provide continuous type of current and ensure the safety of production and experiments. Series resonance technology is becoming increasingly popular, but extra caution is still needed when operating and using circuits, as a single mistake can lead to a major disaster. So, for series resonance technology, how to connect the series resonance  circuit  correctly  during  operation and  use?

The wiring of the excitation transformer needs to be accurate: voltages of 10KV, 35KV, and 110KV are generally used in this experiment. If the frequency conversion series resonant equipment is used as a voltage resistant device for cables, the excitation transformer is mostly connected to the low end; If it is a high-voltage and low-voltage withstand voltage device, the excitation transformer needs to be connected separately at the low and high ends, with low voltage connected to the low end and high voltage connected to the high end; If it is connected to low, medium, or high voltage cables, the high end should be connected to the high voltage cable, and the other two non high voltage cables should be connected to the low end of the excitation transformer.


Series resonant connection test


Excitation transformer wiring: If used as a voltage resistant device for the motor, the series resonant circuit should be connected to the low end of the excitation transformer. In this situation, frequency conversion series resonance can simultaneously connect high and low voltage wires.


Connect the reactor and capacitor voltage divider: If the cable length connected to these two components of the series resonant device is very short. In this case, at least two reactors should be connected in series, regardless of the voltage, to prevent resonance in the circuit.


Connection of reactors: When conducting voltage withstand tests using series resonance. If the test sample is a component or switch with low capacitance, all reactors should be connected in series in the circuit. This is done to prevent resonance from not functioning properly.


Series resonance debugging


When using series resonance technology, extra care must be taken when connecting the circuit, because if the direction is reversed or the wrong position is connected, the experiment may fail or the equipment may be damaged. In more serious cases, it may lead to safety accidents. So users should carefully read the user manual before debugging the series resonant product.
