The very low frequency insulation withstand voltage test is actually an alternative method to the power frequency withstand voltage test. When conducting power frequency withstand voltage tests on large generators, cables, and other test samples, it can replace large capacity resonant transformers. Test principle


This test device is mainly designed and manufactured for electrical withstand voltage testing of all electrical main equipment such as 10kV, 35kV, 300MW thermal power generators, 10kV, 35kV power transformers, and lines. The ultra-low frequency insulation withstand voltage test is actually an alternative method to the power frequency withstand voltage test. We know that when conducting power frequency withstand voltage tests on large generators, cables, and other test samples, large capacity test transformers or resonant transformers are required due to the large capacitance of their insulation layers. These huge devices are not only bulky and expensive, but also very inconvenient to use. In order to solve this contradiction, the power department used a complete set of 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency high-voltage generator test equipment and adopted the method of reducing the test frequency to reduce the capacity of the test power supply, thus greatly simplifying the difficulty of on-site testing. From years of theoretical and practical experience both domestically and internationally, it has been proven that replacing the power frequency withstand voltage test with a 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency withstand voltage test not only achieves the same equivalence, but also greatly reduces the size and weight of the equipment, with a theoretical capacity of about one fifth of the power frequency.

1. The experimental current, voltage, and waveform data are directly obtained through real-time sampling on the high-voltage side, so the data is true and accurate

The high-voltage withstand voltage test of electrical equipment is one of the most important items specified in the "Insulation Preventive Test". Voltage withstand test can be divided into AC voltage withstand test and DC voltage withstand test. AC voltage withstand test can also be divided into power frequency, frequency conversion, and 0.1HZ very low frequency testing technology. 0.1HZ very low frequency technology is the latest technology recommended by the International Electrotechnical Commission. Although the DC withstand voltage test equipment has the advantages of small size, light weight, and low cost, the DC withstand voltage test also has the greatest damage to the insulation of the tested object. Therefore, the latest regulations on preventive testing of electrical equipment issued by the country have explicitly stipulated that DC high voltage will no longer be used for voltage withstand testing of electrical equipment, and AC voltage withstand testing is recommended.
