Table 5 of the sixth item in the "Regulations for Preventive Testing of Electric Power" provides a detailed list of the relevant testing items that power transformers need to undergo. We do not list them one by one, only select some of them for explanation.
Firstly, we need to use a high-voltage megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance and absorption ratio of the transformer winding, then use a DC resistance rapid tester to measure the DC resistance of the winding, use a fully automatic transformation ratio group tester to measure the voltage ratio of all tap connections of the winding, use a transformer no-load load characteristic tester to measure the no-load current and no-load loss, short-circuit impedance and load loss of the transformer, use a transformer on load switch tester to measure the transition resistance, switching time and other parameters of the on load tap changer, use a fully automatic insulation oil dielectric strength tester to measure the dielectric strength of the transformer oil, use a fully automatic anti-interference and abnormal frequency dielectric loss tester to measure the dielectric loss values of the winding and capacitive conduit, and use a chromatographic analyzer to dissolve the transformer oil. Perform chromatographic analysis on gases. After comprehensive analysis and confirmation of the above obtained test parameters, we can use a DC high-voltage generator or an AC/DC high-voltage test transformer to conduct DC leakage tests on the insulation conduits and windings of the transformer. Finally, we can use a power frequency AC high-voltage test transformer to conduct AC withstand voltage tests on the transformer. At this point, the relevant testing projects for power transformers have been declared completed!
