Why Test Zinc Oxide Arrester Resistive Current
The zinc oxide arrester live tester can test the live or power failure detection of zinc oxide arresters of various voltage levels, and timely find dangerous defects such as damping of the internal insulation of the equipment and aging of the valve plate.
The zinc oxide surge arrester live tester is easy to operate, and the entire measurement process is controlled by an industrial computer. The large screen of the zinc oxide surge arrester live tester can display the real waveforms of voltage and current. It uses digital waveform analysis technology, and uses software such as harmonic analysis and digital filtering. The interference method makes the measurement results accurate and stable, and can accurately analyze the content of the fundamental wave and the 3rd to 9th harmonics, and can overcome the influence of interphase interference and correctly measure the resistive current of the side-phase arrester.
To judge whether the zinc oxide arrester is aging or damp, it is usually based on observing the change of the resistive current flowing through the zinc oxide arrester under the normal operating voltage, that is, observing whether the resistive leakage current increases. When the zinc oxide arrester is in a suitable state of charge rate, the resistive leakage current only accounts for 10% to 20% of the total current. Therefore, the change of the resistive current of the zinc oxide arrester can only be determined by observing the change of the total current. It is difficult, and only by separating the group leakage current from the total current can the change be clearly understood.
