Precautions for the use of dry-type transformers
The test transformer is also called a booster. It is a necessary equipment for the electric strength test of power generation equipment, various electrical products and insulating tool materials.
Dry-type test transformer is a new type of product produced after a lot of improvements on the basis of similar products. This series of products have the characteristics of small size, compact structure, complete functions, versatility and convenient use. It is especially suitable for power systems, industrial and mining enterprises, scientific research departments, etc. to conduct insulation strength tests under power frequency DC high voltage for various high voltage electrical equipment, electrical components, and insulating materials. It is an indispensable important equipment in high voltage tests.
1. Before use, it is necessary to carefully read the operation manual of the transformer and the manual of the fully automatic transformer control box (set) that is matched with it. Connect the connecting wire according to the manual, and the grounding wire should be well grounded.
2. The power supply of the automatic transformer control box (set) is divided into two types: AC 220V and 380V, which are output to the high-voltage side input end of the transformer through a voltage regulator. After the variable ratio, the output is continuously adjustable to the rated voltage value.
3. Consider the safety of dry-type experimental transformers and the rigor of high-voltage experiments to avoid damage to equipment or test products. Our factory can provide complete sets of equipment as shown in the figure below to satisfy users: Complete sets of equipment include: high-voltage experimental transformers Automatic transformer control box (set), AC and DC voltage divider, ball gap maintainer, discharge rod, high voltage oil cup, high voltage silicon stack (for DC experiment), digital microammeter (for DC experiment). 4. When doing DC withstand voltage or revealing current experiments, you can first spin the high-voltage silicon stack and micro-ammeter on the high-voltage output end of the high-voltage experimental transformer, and then gradually boost the voltage to stop the DC experiment.
5. When two experimental transformers are connected in series, the rated output voltages of the first and second transformers are equal, and the ratio of their capacities is 2:1. The second transformer must be placed on an insulating support to ensure that it is grounded insulation. When connecting in series, pay attention to the signs on the transformer to ensure that the polarity is connected correctly to ensure the output of the predetermined voltage, otherwise, the output voltage is zero.
