Rules for the use of DC high voltage generators
Rules for the use of DC high voltage generators:
1. The tester should be checked for its integrity before use, the connecting cable should not be open or short-circuited, and the equipment should be free from damage such as rupture.
2. Place the chassis and the pressure doubler in a suitable position and connect the power cord, cable and grounding wire respectively. The protective grounding wire, the working grounding wire and the grounding wire of the discharge rod should be connected to the ground wire of the test product separately (ie One point is grounded). It is strictly forbidden to connect the ground wires in series with each other. For this reason, the ground wire for DHVzhuan should be used.
3. Place the power switch in the off position and check that the electric potentiometer should be in the zero position. The setting value of overvoltage protection is generally 1.1 times of the test voltage.
4. No-load boost to verify whether the over-voltage protection setting is sensitive.
5. Turn on the power switch, the red light is on at this time, indicating that the power is on.
6. Press the green button, the green light is on, indicating that the high voltage is on.
7. Gently adjust the voltage regulator in a clockwise direction. The output terminal will start to boost from zero. After reaching the required voltage, record the reading of the ammeter within the specified time, and check the control box and high-voltage output line for abnormal phenomena and noise.
8. Step down and reset the potentiometer to zero, then press the red button to cut off the high voltage and turn off the power switch.
9. Carry out leakage and DC withstand voltage test on the sample. After the inspection test is carried out to confirm that the tester has no abnormal conditions, the leakage and DC withstand voltage test of the sample can be started. Connect the test product, ground wire, etc., and turn on the power after the inspection is correct.
10. Boost to the required voltage or current. The boost speed is suitable for the test voltage of 3-5kV per second. For the large-capacitance test product, it is necessary to monitor the charging current of the ammeter not to exceed the charging current of the tester when boosting. For small capacitor samples, such as zinc oxide arresters, magnetic blown arresters, etc., first increase to 95% of the required voltage (current), and then slowly and carefully increase to the required voltage (current). Then read the voltage (current) value from the digital display. After the measurement is completed, the potentiometer returns to zero counterclockwise and press the green button. Press the red button when you need to boost the voltage again.
If necessary, compare the voltage on the control box with an external high voltage divider.
11. After the test, reduce the voltage and turn off the power supply.
