1. 2. When the leakage current of the tested product needs to be measured, a high-voltage digital micro-ammeter should be connected in series on the high-voltage side. The digital micro-ampere meter must have a metal shield, and the shield should be connected to the tested product. The shield of the instrument end is tightly connected. If the performance of the test product is dirty, the influence of the leakage current on the surface of the test product can be eliminated. The high potential end of the test product can be connected with the shield of the high-voltage lead after a few turns of bare metal cord.
3. When the DC high voltage generator can detach the ground terminal of the tested product such as zinc oxide, magnetic blower arrester, etc., it can also be used to connect an ammeter to the bottom of the tested product (ground potential side) for measurement. To eliminate the influence of the leakage current on the surface of the tested product, use a soft bare copper wire to wind a few turns on the ground potential end of the tested product and connect it with the shield of the shielding wire. For small capacitor samples such as zinc oxide arresters, generally pass a pressure measuring resistor The discharge time is very fast, and for large capacitor test products such as cables, the voltage of the test product is generally self-discharged to below 20% of the test voltage, and then discharged through the matching discharge rod. After the test product is fully discharged, the ground wire is hung up. It is allowed to remove the high-voltage lead and replace the wiring. The operation after the protection action of the DC high-voltage generator finds that the red light is off, the green light is on, and the voltage drops during use, which is the protection action. At this time, the power switch should be turned off and the panel indicates If the lights are off, return the potentiometer to the zero position. After one minute, the low-voltage capacitor in the standby mode is fully discharged before the power switch is allowed to turn on again, and the no-load test can be performed again and the boost test can be performed after the situation is found.
