Precautions for insulation resistance tester?
Matters needing attention during the use of the insulation resistance tester:
1. Confirm that the wiring is correct (note: the test line is prohibited from dragging the ground) and then start the test. The "high voltage output" light is on to indicate that there is a high voltage output. At this time, it is strictly prohibited to touch the high voltage line! During the test, it is strictly forbidden to unplug or insert the test wire or short-circuit the output to avoid endangering the human body and damaging the instrument.
2. When the internal battery of the meter is used for measurement, the display is dim or does not display when it is turned on, indicating that the battery is insufficient, and the meter should be turned off and charged in time.
Note: When the test shows that the voltage exceeds the selected rated voltage by a large amount, if it cannot be stable for a long time, please do not connect the load to test to see if the voltage is normal. If it is not normal, please charge it, charge it fully and test the voltage again. If the voltage is normal, it means that the power is insufficient and charge it in time.
3. The battery should be charged regularly (once a month) when the meter is not used for a long time. Turn off the instrument when not in use and when charging.
4. The instrument is stored in a dry, dust-free, and non-corrosive gas environment.
5. When testing large-capacity capacitive loads, ensure that there is sufficient discharge time after the test, and the test line can be removed after the discharge is completed. (Extra large capacitive load is best discharged for more than 1 minute)
6. The displayed value of the insulation resistance measured when the instrument is not connected to the tested product generally reaches the T level (1T=1000G). This value is generally a random infinite value, just like the test air, which has no practical significance.
7. If the meter fails, please ask a full-time maintenance person or send it back to our company for repair. Do not disassemble the meter by yourself, otherwise our company will not be responsible for the damage caused.
