Sensor of high voltage switch tester
The high-voltage switch needs to be tested before and during use to determine the insulation properties of the high-voltage switch and see if it can still work normally. Therefore, a high-voltage switch dynamic characteristic tester is needed. The high-voltage switch dynamic characteristics tester has a high accuracy, and it depends on the sensor on the device. Many electricians don’t know how to install the sensor when using the device, so this article will give you a brief introduction to the high-voltage switch. How to install the sensor of the East Characteristic Tester.
The general high-voltage switch characteristic tester is equipped with two kinds of sensors, a rotary sensor and a linear sensor. This article will introduce them separately.
1. Rotation sensor:
The general-purpose sensor is suitable for measuring the speed when the sensor is in linear motion. For some switches, especially imported and joint-venture switches, the linear transmission part is enclosed in the switch body, and the general sensor cannot find the installation location. When the switch manufacturer does the speed test at the factory, the test is done on the switch opening and closing indicator or the rotating shaft. In this case, the rotating sensor is used. The axis of the rotating sensor should be kept concentric with the axis of the switch as much as possible, otherwise the rotation of the sensor will be obstructed, and the burr of the measured curve will be heavy, which will affect the accuracy of the test data.
2. Linear sensor:
If you need to accurately measure the stroke of the switch, you need to use a linear sensor. The linear sensor has three specifications, namely 50mm, 200mm and 300mm. The 50mm linear sensor is used for the measurement of the travel speed of the vacuum switch; the 200mm and 300mm are used for the measurement of the travel and speed of the SF6 switch. These two sensors are non-standard configurations.
When installing the linear resistance sensor, ensure that the sensor axis can move linearly, and fix the sensor with a magnetic universal bracket. For SF6 switch and oil switch, the method is similar. Because of the cumbersome installation of linear sensors on site, users can design their own mounting brackets for different switches according to their needs, and keep the pull rod of the sensor parallel and synchronized with the movement of the switch moving contact, and the switch's movement stroke can be measured accurately And the corresponding speed.
