DC high voltage generator instrument wiring:
1. Check the integrity of the tester before use. There should be no open circuit or short circuit in the connecting cable, and no damage to the equipment.
2. Place the chassis of the DC high-voltage generator and the double pressure tube in the appropriate position, connect the power line, the cable and the ground wire respectively, the protective ground wire, the working ground wire and the ground wire of the discharge rod shall be connected to the ground wire of the test sample (ie Ground at a certain point). It is strictly forbidden to connect all ground wires in series. Therefore, DHV dedicated grounding wires are generally used.
3. The power switch of the DC high voltage generator should be postponed, and check whether the voltage regulator is in the zero position. The setting value of overvoltage protection is generally 1.1 times the test voltage.
4. No-load boost to verify the sensitivity of the over-voltage protection setting.
5. Press the power switch, the red light should be on, which means the power is on.
6. Press the green button on the DC high-voltage generator, and then press the green light to indicate high-voltage connection.
7. Adjust the potentiometer clockwise and steadily. When the output voltage rises from zero to the required voltage, record the reading of the ammeter within the specified time and check the abnormal phenomenon and sound of the control box and the high-voltage output line.
8. After reducing the voltage, adjust the voltage regulator to zero, press the red button immediately, cut off the high voltage, and turn off the power switch.
9. The samples were tested for leakage and DC voltage resistance. The leak test and DC withstand voltage test can only be carried out after the inspection test confirms that the testing machine is normal. Connect the test sample, ground wire, etc., and turn on the power after checking.
10. Do not exceed the required voltage or current. The appropriate boost speed is 3-5 kV test voltage per second. In the large-capacity test, it is also necessary to monitor the charging current of the ammeter, and the current does not exceed the maximum charging current of the tester. For small-capacity samples, such as zinc oxide arresters, magnetic arresters, etc., first increase the required voltage (current) to 95% of the required voltage (current), and then slowly and carefully reach the required voltage (current). Then read the voltage (current) value from the digital display. If the zinc oxide arrester needs to measure 0 and 75 UDC-1mA, the voltage will first rise to the UDC1mA voltage value, and then press the yellow button, then the voltage will drop to the original 75g and keep this state. Only then can the current be read. After the test, the potentiometer returns to zero counterclockwise, and immediately press the green button. When you need to pressurize again, press the green button.
