Instructions for use of AC and DC high voltage meters
The AC/DC digital high-voltage meter is composed of a high-voltage divider and a low-voltage display meter, and is connected with a special cable to form a complete set of high-voltage measurement device.
1. Wiring
The voltage equalizing cover on the upper end of the AC/DC digital high-voltage meter is a high-voltage end, which can directly input the measured high voltage, and the lower end has a dedicated ground terminal for grounding. Connect the high-voltage divider and low-voltage display meter with a special cable, and select the corresponding voltage and quantity The measurement can be started within the limit.
2. Power frequency high voltage measurement
After connecting the measurement circuit, switch the low voltage display meter function switch to AC range, select High range, directly measure the power frequency high voltage, the reading is the kV number, if the measured voltage is lower than 20kV, you can switch the function switch to Low range, to Get higher accuracy readings.
3. DC high voltage measurement
After connecting the measurement circuit, switch the function switch of the low-voltage display meter to the DC range, select high-end, and directly measure the DC high-voltage, the reading is the number of kV. If the measured voltage is lower than 20kV, the function switch can be switched to a low range to obtain a more accurate reading.
4. Grounding
The lower end of the high-voltage divider is equipped with a dedicated metal ground terminal, and the ground terminal must be reliably grounded before each use.
Note: The grounding must be checked before use.
