Precautions for partial discharge detection system

1. Before making any connection operations, first ground the ground terminal of the instrument.

2. Before each test, after the instrument is connected, the instrument should have a warm-up time of not less than 5 minutes. The instrument should be well protected to prevent corrosion, avoid direct sunlight, and stay away from strong magnetic sources during testing. The instrument should avoid strong vibration, and anti-vibration measures should be taken during transportation.

3. The keyboard interface is RJ-45 interface, similar to the general network cable interface, it can be directly inserted, and you need to hold down the plastic shrapnel to pull it out.

4. Zero-scale input interface: provide external zero-scale signal for the instrument by reducing the test power supply voltage to 10V~240V through the voltage divider. This voltage is input to the zero-scale input terminal. Note: The input voltage of the zero-scale unit must not Exceed 10V~240V. When the test power supply and the instrument power supply are in the same phase or the test power supply and the power frequency are strictly synchronized, the zero mark in the instrument can be used, and the phase should be calibrated.

5. Under conditional conditions, the test sample is placed in the shielded room, and the pressurized equipment and instruments are placed outside the shielded room, which can effectively prevent interference.

6. The instrument should be kept away from the test sample for not less than 7 meters. When the baseline interference is relatively large, a metal mesh protective fence can be added between the instrument and the test sample.

7. It is strictly forbidden to insert the plug-in interface with power. When any plug-in interface is used, the instrument is strictly prohibited to be turned on, and the switch should be turned off before the plug-in interface operation is performed.

8. The ground terminal of the detection impedance should be well grounded to avoid the introduction of high voltage. In order to avoid the influence of interference, the connection between the test impedance and the sample should be as short as possible. The detection impedance should be selected according to the capacitance of the test product. For the specific method, refer to the instruction manual.

9. After calibration, the calibration square wave must be disconnected to avoid high voltage breakdown during the test, and the power switch is turned off after the calibration. The calibration square wave is powered by a rechargeable battery. When there is no power, the red light will go out and the square wave will be inaccurate. At this time, the square wave calibrator should be charged. Note: Each charge should be performed when the square wave calibrator is not powered (ie, the red light turns off when it is turned on). Do not charge when there is power, and the charging time should not be too long, generally 10 to 12 hours and the green indicator light off. Sometimes in order to ensure that the charge is full, you can intentionally turn on the square wave to discharge, and then recharge.
