Insulation resistance tester is often called pointer megohm meter, which is widely used to measure insulation resistance of various products. They are often used in routine maintenance procedures to indicate changes in insulation resistance of the motor over months or years. Large changes in insulation resistance may indicate potential faults, so it is necessary to ensure its safety to avoid problems.
1. When the insulation resistance tester is not in use for a long time, the battery should be charged regularly (once a month). When not in use and when charging, the instrument should be turned off.
2. If the instrument fails, please ask full-time maintenance personnel to repair it and pay attention not to disassemble the instrument by yourself.
3. Storage environment: dry, dust-free and non-corrosive gas.
4. After confirming the wiring is correct, start the test and the "high voltage output" light on indicates high voltage output. Do not touch the high-voltage line at this time. Do not unplug the test line or short connect the output during the test. So as not to endanger the person or damage the instrument.
5. When testing large-capacity capacitive load, the test is completed. Make sure you have enough discharge time. After discharging, the test line can be disassembled (the discharge of extra-large capacity load should exceed 1 minute).
6, use of internal battery when measuring the insulation resistance tester show that dim or boot does not display, said the battery is not enough, should be timely close instrument and charging, such as visibility, please close the background light of LCD (according to the background of "light" button on the keyboard), to save battery power (note: test shows the voltage beyond the rated voltage of a lot of choice, and not stable for a long time, please disconnect the test devices to see if the voltage is normal; If it is not normal, please charge, charging full again empty test voltage, voltage is normal is insufficient power should be charged in time. .
7. When the instrument is not connected to the tested product, the measured insulation resistance value generally reaches T level (1T=1000G). This value is generally a random infinite value. Like testing the air, it doesn't make sense.
