How to use dc high voltage generator
A dc high voltage generator is an instrument used to provide a high voltage dc source. Before using the instrument, the instrument must be reliably grounded, and the personnel using the dc high voltage generator must have the professional personnel with "high voltage test certificate". The use of the dc high-voltage generator requires the user to comply with article 168 of the power safety specification, and to install two obvious breakpoints before the working power supply enters the tester. When replacing the sample and wiring, the two power supply disconnect points should be disconnected obviously. At the same time, a minimum of three staff members must remain on site in order to effectively ensure the safety of users.
Before turning on the power supply of the instrument, confirm the connection between the dc high-voltage generator and the 220V ac power supply, carefully check whether the wiring is correct, and check whether the connection of the high-voltage release pole is reliable. In the process of voltage rise and fall of the dc high-voltage generator, prolonging the service life of the dc high-voltage generator is one of the most important issues. Try to avoid using the instrument out of range. At the end of each test, the potentiometer was first reduced to zero, and then the power supply was cut off during the discharge process of the sample. The discharge process was divided into two steps, and the sample was discharged with ZS special discharge resistance bar. Do not immediately contact the discharge rod with the specimen when discharging. First of all, the discharge rod should be gradually close to the sample and start to discharge freely at a certain distance from the air gap, and hiss. When there is no sound, the discharge pole can be used to discharge, and finally the direct ground wire discharge. When the dc high voltage is at or above 200 kV, although the experimenter wears insulating shoes and is out of a safe distance, due to the influence of the spatial electric field distribution of ions, several adjacent standing human bodies have different dc electric levels. The experimenter shall not shake hands with each other or touch the ground body with their hands, otherwise there will be slight electric shock. This phenomenon is more obvious in dry areas and winter, but generally will not cause harm to the human body due to small energy.
