Wuhan UHV travels to Guangxi
Recently, in order to ensure the stable operation of power equipment and improve the professional skills of local operation and maintenance personnel, the Wuhan UHV after-sales team went to Baise, Guangxi .
With the widespread application of UHV technology in China's power transmission field, the stable operation of equipment is crucial for ensuring energy supply. In recent years, the Baise region of Guangxi has increased its construction and investment in UHV power facilities, and numerous advanced equipment have been put into use one after another. However, the operation and maintenance management of new equipment poses higher challenges for local technicians. In this context, the Wuhan UHV after-sales team responded positively to the demand and embarked on this significant training journey.
After arriving in Baise, the after-sales team quickly connected with local staff and carefully formulated a training plan based on the actual situation of the equipment and the knowledge level of the operation and maintenance personnel. The training content covers two parts: theoretical explanation and practical exercises. Customers are more concerned about how large the cable can be made and how to calculate the power. In response to these questions, our after-sales personnel take the 10kv, 300 cross-section, one kilometer cable that they often test on site as an example.
Firstly, we input the voltage level, cross-section, and length of our cable into the calculator to calculate a capacitance of 0.37 microfarads. The reactor is connected in parallel for 55H, and then we input the capacitance into our frequency calculation formula to calculate 35.28Hz. We then input the test voltage, test frequency, and capacitance into our current calculation to calculate our current of 1.44A.
According to the formula W=IV for power, the high voltage power is calculated to be 25.2kW. Using the test voltage of 17.5kV divided by the output terminal voltage of the excitation transformer of 1.5kV, the transformer ratio is approximately 11.66. We use the high voltage power of 25.2kW divided by the transformer ratio of 11.66 to calculate our low voltage power, which is approximately 2.16kW. Our main engine is 4.5kW, so we can complete the experiment.
After extensive training, local operation and maintenance personnel have expressed that they have gained a lot. A technician who participated in the training sighed, "This training is too timely. I used to be uncertain about the operation and maintenance of some complex equipment, but now with the guidance of experts, I feel more confident
The person in charge of the Wuhan UHV after-sales team said, "We hope that through this training, we can help our colleagues in Baise, Guangxi better master equipment operation and maintenance skills, ensure stable and reliable operation of UHV equipment in the local area, and contribute to local economic development. In the future, we will continue to strengthen cooperation with various regions and provide better after-sales services
The Wuhan UHV after-sales team went to Baise, Guangxi to carry out after-sales training activities, which not only strengthened technical exchanges and cooperation between regions, but also laid a solid foundation for the stable operation of UHV equipment nationwide. I believe that with the joint efforts of all parties, China's ultra-high voltage industry will usher in a more brilliant tomorrow.
