In December, Huatian Electric Power received the after-sales service invitation from Jinjie coal mine in Shendong. Our after-sales colleagues arrived at Shendong County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, where the customer is located, on the 18th of that month. After arriving at the destination, they immediately contacted the customer manager Zhang of the other party. After communication, the two parties finally decided to carry out equipment training on that day.
Under the leadership of manager Zhang, we quickly organized the site, and the main training instrument on that day was: HT-TC cable fault locator. Cable fault tester is a new generation of portable cable fault tester designed and manufactured by our company according to the user's requirements and considering the field use. The instrument adheres to Huatian Electric Power's tenet of high technology, high precision and high quality, and improves the cable test level to a new level.
The whole set of cable fault tester is composed of three parts: flicker test, tracing and positioning. It can be used to detect low resistance, high resistance, short circuit, open circuit, leakage fault and flashover fault of various cables. It can accurately detect the location of fault point, cable length and cable buried path of underground cables, with accurate test, high intelligence, wide adaptability, stable performance and light weight Smart and portable.In addition, the instrument also uses Chinese character system, high definition display, friendly interface, cable tracing and fault location are composed of Pathfinder, fixed point instrument, t-probe, A-frame, earpiece, etc. the instrument is a special instrument for cable fault location test, which is suitable for testing various cables with metal conductors (wire pair, sheath, shielding layer), and the main functions are as follows The positioning test of the poor insulation points, the detection of the cable path and the test of the cable buried depth.

After the theoretical introduction of the instrument, our after-sales colleagues began to train the customer on the practical operation of the cable fault tester. On the same day, there was a ten meter cable on the customer's site. Because the cable fault search mainly includes low-voltage pulse method and high-voltage flash method, our after-sales colleagues conducted a simulation test of high-voltage flash method on the site.
1. Wiring
First, connect the "output" of the control box with a special connecting line to the "input" end of the oil immersed test transformer, the "instrument" end of the control box to the "instrument" end of the test transformer, the "grounding" end of the control box to the "high voltage tail" of the test transformer, and the "high voltage tail" well grounded;
Then, the "high voltage output" end of the test transformer is grounded with the "positive pole" of the pulse capacitor (the connecting wire needs to be suspended), the "positive pole" of the pulse capacitor is connected with the "ball gap", the adjustment interval of the "ball gap" is about 3mm, the other end of the "ball gap" is connected with the high voltage output wire to the fault cable (the output wire needs to be suspended), the other two phases of the fault cable and the shield wire are short Grounding, the other pole of the pulse capacitor is grounded;
Then, take out the special test line and connect it to the "signal" port of the host, plug another "red and black" plug into the "current sampling box", and place it near the ground wire of the "pulse capacitor"; connect the discharge rod for standby, and connect the control box with the AC 220V power supply, so as to complete the wiring.
2. Instrument Operation
Before the formal test, check the wiring again, turn on the power switch of the control box after confirming it is correct, turn the "voltage regulating knob" back to the zero position, click the "start" button, adjust the "voltage regulating knob" to slowly rise the voltage until the pulse capacitor "ball gap" is discharged (preferably not more than 15kV), and then observe the "ammeter" on the control box, such as the current is 0-10a Swing left and right to maintain this state (if the current is too small, it is necessary to reduce the voltage and stop the machine, and readjust the distance of the ball gap).
Then, turn on the power switch of the host, click the "pulse width" key, turn on the pulse width indicator light, select the pulse width of 0.2us, enter the main interface, select "3. Flash 1", click the "speed" key, select the speed of 172, click "1. Sample", find out the approximate position of the fault point of the faulty cable according to the waveform, take out the earpiece in the accessory box, and use the special connection The line is connected to the "positioning instrument", so that the fault point can be judged approximately nearby, and then listen to the sound of the fault point discharge, so as to accurately locate the fault point.
After the completion of the simulation demonstration operation, our after-sales colleagues let the customers start to operate by themselves and answer their questions one by one until the customers really understand. During the whole training process, and the field test results are accurate. On that day, the customers expressed their high recognition and appreciation for our products and this after-sales service!
