The reliable operation of SF6 switches, which are widely used in power systems, has become one of the most concerned issues for power supply and consumption departments. SF6 gas density relay is an important component used to monitor the changes in SF6 gas density in the SF6 switch body during operation, and its performance directly affects the safety of SF6 switch operation. The SF6 gas density relay operating on site often experiences inflexibility and poor contact of contacts after a period of time due to infrequent operation. Some density relays may also have poor temperature compensation performance, which can lead to misoperation of SF6 density relays when the ambient temperature suddenly changes. Therefore, DL/T596-2021 "Preventive Testing Regulations for Power Equipment" stipulates that each SF6 switch user unit should regularly verify the SF6 gas density relay. From the actual operating situation, it is also necessary to regularly calibrate SF6 density relays and pressure gauges during on-site operation.
The pressure of gas enclosed in a container varies with temperature. In order to have a unified standard for comparison, we usually use the relative pressure value of 20 ℃ as the standard value. When calibrating density relays, the measured pressure is converted into an equivalent pressure value at 20 ℃ based on the correspondence between pressure and temperature, and then compared.
