How to use High Voltage DC Generator

The high voltage DC generator is an instrument used to provide a high voltage dc source. Before the use of the instrument, the instrument must be reliably groun- ded. People who use of the high voltage DC generator must have a "high-voltage test certificate". Please read and follow the 168 regulation of “ eleceric power regulatory” when you use this product, and install two apparently disconnected point between w -orking power enters the tester, when replacing the test product or connecting line, you sho -uld break the two disconnect points of power supply. At the same time, at least thre -e staffs must remain on site in order to effectively ensure the safety of users.

Before turning on the instrument power supply, it is necessary to confirm the conne- ction between the high voltage DC generator and the 220V AC power supply, carefully ch -eck whether the wiring is correct, and check whether the high-voltage discharge pole wiri -ng is reliable. In the process of voltage rise and fall of the high voltage DC generator, it is one of the most important issues to extend the service life of the high voltage DC generato -r.Try to avoid using the instrument beyond the limits. After each test, the potentiometer is first restored to zero, and then the power is cut off during the sample discharge process. The discharge process is divided into two steps, and the sample is discharged with a special discharge resistance rod. When discharging, do not immediately put the discharge rod in contact with the sample. First of all, the discharge rod should be gradually close to the test product, at a certain distance from the air gap to start free discharge, and you will hear the hiss. When there is no sound, you can use the discharge rod to free discharge, and finally direct grounding wire discharge. When the DC high voltage is above 200 kV, although the experimenter wears insulating shoes and is at a safe distance, due to the influence of the spatial electric field distribution of ions, several adjacent standing human bodies have different dc potential. The experimenter shall not shake hands with each other or touch the grounding body with his hand, otherwise there will be slight electric shock. This phenomenon is more obvious in arid areas and winter, but generally will not cause harm to the human body because of the small energy.
