Measurement steps of transformer DC resistance tester:

1. After connecting the test line, turn off the power switch, turn on the power indicator, press the "Start and Stop" button, the meter head displays "E0000".

2. Select the resistance gear range according to the measured value, press the gear switch, the gear indicator light is on, and the stable value displayed on the four and a half LCD screens is the measured resistance value.

3. When reading the value, please pay attention to the unit within the selected range (mΩ/Ω/KΩ).

4. When measuring large inductance samples, such as power transformers, and other test circuits other than coils, there is no need to measure short circuits to avoid electromagnetic interference.

After the test, directly cut off the main power supply. If during the test, the power supply should not be removed immediately after operation, the instrument should have a continuous discharge process, generally for at least 20 seconds, otherwise, the back electromotive force of the inductor will endanger personal safety.
