The megohmmeter is used to measure the insulation resistance, commonly known as the shaker. There are generators, commonly used ones are 250V, 500V, 1000V, 2500V.

Multimeters are used to measure AC and DC voltage, DC current, resistance, as well as the magnification of transistors, diodes, capacitors, and inductances.

Megger is commonly known as shaking table, and most of megger is powered by hand-cranked generator, so it is also called shaking table. Its scale is in megaohms (MΩ). The megohmmeter is a measuring instrument commonly used by electricians. The megohmmeter is mainly used to check the insulation resistance of electrical equipment, household appliances or electrical circuits to the ground and between phases to ensure that these equipment, electrical appliances and circuits are working in a normal state, and to avoid accidents such as electric shock and equipment damage.

Multimeters are also called multiplex meters, multimeters, three-meters, multi-meters, etc. They are indispensable measuring instruments in power electronics and other sectors. They generally measure voltage, current, and resistance as their main purpose. Multimeters are divided into pointer multimeters and digital multimeters according to the display mode. It is a multi-function, multi-range measuring instrument. Generally, a multimeter can measure DC current, DC voltage, AC current, AC voltage, resistance and audio level, etc. Some can also measure AC current, capacitance, inductance and semiconductor Some parameters (such as β) and so on.

A megohmmeter is a high resistance meter. Generally, a multimeter is a medium resistance meter. A megohmmeter can only measure resistance. In addition to measuring resistance, a multimeter can also measure voltage, current, transistors, etc. Megger is generally used to measure two electrical equipment The insulation resistance between the ground is a basis for preliminary judgment of whether the equipment can be put into operation.

The ohm file of the multimeter is mainly used to measure the resistance value of equipment components, and it can also be used to measure the continuity of wires. It can also roughly measure the insulation resistance of equipment (or electrical appliances) to ground when there is no megohmmeter during maintenance.
