The vacuum switch vacuum tester is measured by magnetron discharge method. Pull the two contacts of the vacuum arcing chamber to a certain distance, apply the electric field pulse high voltage, put the arcing chamber in the electromagnetic coil, or put the new electromagnetic coil in the outdoor side of the arcing chamber, and apply a large current to make the coil generate a pulse magnetic field synchronous with the high voltage in the arcing chamber. Therefore, under the action of a strong magnetic field and a strong electric field, the charged ions in the arcing room move helically and collide with the residual gas molecules, and the ion current generated is roughly proportional to the density of the residual gas, that is, the vacuum degree. For different vacuum tube types (tube types), due to their different structures, the ionic current is different at the same contact opening distance, equivalent vacuum, and equivalent electric and magnetic fields. Through experiments, the corresponding relationship between vacuum degree and ionic current of various tubes can be corrected. When measuring ionic current, the vacuum degree of tube can be obtained by inquiring the ionic current-vacuum curve of tube type.

In order to improve the test sensitivity of the conventional magnetron discharge test, the arc-extinguishing chamber must be removed from the circuit breaker and placed in the electromagnetic wire tube. In this way, the mechanical parameters need to be adjusted when the circuit breaker is reinstalled in the arc-extinguishing chamber. The workload is heavy and professional personnel are needed. The new magnetron coil can be used to surround the arc quench chamber from the side, so it is not necessary to disassemble the arc quench chamber. The single-chip microcomputer is used for synchronous control and data acquisition and processing, which improves the sensitivity of the field test of the vacuum chamber of the arc quench chamber.
